Skyactiv Technology

Mazda's Skyactiv Technology program aims to perfect its engines, transmissions, bodies and chassis to where they work in tandem seamlessly and allow motor and motorist to act as one. Skyactiv engines improve fuel economy and produce less emissions thanks to their lightweight design, while lighter bodies enhance responsiveness in Skyactiv engines and transmissions for an enthralling, yet safe drive.

i-Activ AWD

As if Mazda didn't already give its drivers reason enough to brim with confidence at the wheel, they've designed an on-demand, adaptive all-wheel drive system that tailors itself to any and all driving conditions. Sensors examine the road's conditions an astounding 200 times per second, all while computing everything regarding the driver's behaviour from acceleration to the sharpness in their turns to the pressure applied to the brakes, after which the vehicle will respond in distributing torque to the wheels accordingly for safe navigation in even the least auspicious weather.

Kodo Design

Mazda's design is applauded by motorists and reviewers year in, year out, and its Kodo "Soul of Motion" Design program claims the lion's share of the credit. This comprehensive initiative covers everything tangible, visible and audible in a Mazda, be it the sleek alloy wheels, the active driving display or the Soul Red colour the Mazda brain trust engineered themselves, proving time and again that automotive craftsmanship extends far beyond what lies under the hood.

i-Activsense Safety System

Mazda owners needn't feel on edge during night drives and rush hour any longer thanks to Mazda's new i-Activsense technology. This program's suite of active safety features make easy work of detecting potential hazards, avoiding collisions and adapting to nighttime conditions including surrounding lighting and proximity to other vehicles. In other words, if you make regular use of your Blind Spot Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning System, High Beam Control System or Smart Brake Support, you can attribute your safety at the wheel to the team behind i-Activsense.
